Whenever we sit down on our couch the cushions always slid right off. We have to keep pushing them in every minute. Do you have any ideas on how to keep them put?

You can sew velcro on. One side of the velcro to the cushion and the other to the base of the couch. Use a long enough piece and make sure you put it smack dab in the middle of the cushion. It really works because when velcro gets pulled on (as it will when you sit on the cushion), it only makes it stronger. I've done this with my couch and haven't had a problem since then.

The other thing you can try if velcro doesn't appeal to you is to go to where they sell futons and buy one or two pieces of the black material they sell so the futon doesn't slide off the base. This might work but I still think the velcro is your best bet.

Happy slipping! =)

I have seen people attached velcro to the back of the cushion and to the couch - I have also seen folks use those "no skid" pads designed for throw rugs.
Good Luck!
