copper cookware is great, because it heats evenly. If you don't cook a lot I would'nt recommend the extra cost. You can probably find some for less then 2k.

Copper cookware is great because of the eveness of the heat distribution and that cookware looks great too but I don't think it is worth the cost for the average person.

Copper bottom cookware is good to cook with. I like All-Clad, however, it is VERY EXPENSIVE for a set. They also say that the Emeril Ware set is good and so is the Wolfgang Puck set. Check on Ebay for GREAT prices. I've been looking to upgrade my cookware too.

Copper IS the best, but unless you are a professional chef or just have money to burn, it probably isn't worth the expense.

I,m not sure if it's worth the money or not, but i prefer cast iron
