Since you are a Wikipedia fan, it might interest you to know that Wikipedia says santa claus exists. We all know they are infallible.
"Santa Claus is a variation of a Dutch folk tale based on the historical figure Saint Nicholas, a bishop from Myra in Asia Minor (the greater part of modern-day Turkey), who used his whole inheritance to assist the needy, the sick, and the suffering. His charity became legend when a man lost his fortune and found himself incapable of supporting his three daughters, who would not be able to find husbands as they lacked dowries. Barkley, you quote one of the same articles as the question (and I happen to know the question is immutable so you just didn't click or read or nothing). It seems like a good summary and a place to start the question - like maybe we could add to the body of polemic on the topic instead of sniping about who's arguments are more sincere. And nobody's forcing you to reply, any more than they're forcing you to believe anything.

no one has ever seen the wind, yet everyone has felt the effects of the wind, therefore the wind exists. GOD is like the wind. all one needs to do is look at the glories and wonders displayed in the Heavens and upon the Earth to see GOD'S Handiwork. yet like the wind, GOD, HIMSELF remains invisible to the 5 human senses while on this plane of existence. realize this description will not satisfy or change non - believers which is fine as this is not my intention.

The fact is without knowing God for you there is no difference. Faith is not as those who do not have faith think. Faith is a gift from God and it comes to those who have value in truth and seek the truth. Through our faith comes revelation. If you seek god you will find the truth if not it is all nonsense those that only accept what they see in this world can not know spiritual things that come from revelation from God. Your false gods can not atone for sin grant you faith, revelation or salvation.
