I am framing about 25 posters and need to find the "plastic" to frame it....What should I use? I find glass to be too expensive. My posters range from 8 x 20 to 26 x 36. Any help is much appreciated

If you have a Joann's or Michael's in your area, try any craft store. I do know that both of those sell framing stuff. Not sure how big they go up to. Also try a home improvement store, if the sizes at the craft stores aren't large enough. They should have many alternatives you could use to frame out your posters.
If you're talking about the face of the frame, go with plexiglass. You can buy really large sheets of it and it's fairly inexpensive.

You should use plexiglass. It can be bought in different thicknesses so you can choose depending on look and price. You'll find what you need at any large surface home store such as Home Depot and they will cut the plexiglass to size for you for a small fee.

You can also take a trip to your nearest WalMart as they have ready-made poster frames and they aren't too expensive.
