I have one kinda in between my neck & between my shoulder blades. It's a fairy or a woman with wings. I got it because I'd wanted something that would fit my name for a long time. I was having problems finding something that I really liked or someone to draw me something out. So, I saw this in a tattoo parlor & got it. My hubby had already gotten a few & I had none. It's the only one I have, though. I really want something to go across my back. I'm just not real positive as to what, yet.

I have three tattoos.
My first was a set of small red and orange paw prints on my left breast. I got them when my first pet, Gwenevere (a ferret), died. The paws are essentially over my heart, and they're about the size hers were.
My second tattoo is on my right hipbone. It's a blue crescent moon with a celtic star dangling from the tip. I got it to symbolize my spirituality, really. It's more complex than that, but that'll do for here. =)
Lastly, I have a small blue wolf howling at the moon on my left shoulder blade. Wolves have always been my favorite animal, and I decided to get this a few years back. Sometimes I think I should have gotten it somewhere else, but for the most part I like it, and I love my other two.

I have a butterfly on my right sholder, another on on my back near the left side of my waistline, and 'protect my heart' in latin on my lower back. I am part native american, and in my heritage butterflies signify eternal life. I hate my tattoos. I want the butterfly on my sholder and the tat on my lower back removed. I had been dreaming of getting a tattoo from the time I was 12 years old, and got the butterfly on my sholder on my 18th b-day. I am now on the board of directors for a mothers club, and will be on the pta when my son is older. I feel like people think i'm cheap or tacky when I wear tank tops. I look at my wedding pictures and cringe because I have this huge blue thing on my sholder. You never know what life will bring. Three years ago I was in a rock band. Now, I'm in a country club. Even if your certain of your direction in life and who you are, it can always change. If you're thinking about getting one, take it seriously.

Yes, but given my age (17) at the time I got it I wish it were something else. At the time, I got it just because I wanted one and that was the picture they had that I liked best.
It covers my shoulderblade, and is a unicorn (the head, with a moon & star, and it looks like it's coming out of smoke)
My next will be based on a tarot card from the Art Nouveau deck. It's "STRENGTH" and has a woman with long brown hair (like me) sitting cross legged in front of a huge oak tree with a lion behind her lying down. She has her eyes closed and an acorn in her open hand. I want that one to symbolize that I have quiet strength- and to remind me that it's there for me to tap into whenever I need it.
Tattoos have a lot of personal power and symbolism for many people.

I have 4 tattoos:
I have an elephant blowing bubbles on my ankle, which represents luck and character.
I have an orchid on each foot because of their exotic, fragile beauty: They are difficult to grow and do so on their own terms, and I've been told that I can act like this sometimes. They're my favorite flowers but I just can't seem to grow them, so now I get to admire them all the time!
I have a pink Scorpio tattoo on my upper right thigh that represents my sign.

Yes I do. I have 2 actually. One is a simple black dragon on the outside of my right ankle. The other is 3 colorful snakes intertwined to create a shamrock shape. It is located on my left breast.
I feel that there are some things that a person should experience. tattoos are one of those. the second one i got though (the dragon) was to signify my personal freedom from my abusive marriage. I plan on getting more to commemorate the birth of my twins.
If you want pics IM me. mayski18 at yahoo messenger.
Sorry it is so long...but you asked

I have a raven on the back of my right calf and a geranium on my upper chest/collarbone.
I got the raven because it symbolizes (among MANY other things) bringing souls from darkness to the light, and that is something I've tried to do my entire life, and what I plan to do with the rest of it.
I got the flower on my first wedding anniversary. I wanted something beautiful, dainty, and feminine, just because. I love both tats and definitly plan on getting more.

Yes, two. The first one i got when i was 17, its five different colored/sized stars at the bottom of my neck going down my shoulder, two for my parents, two for my brothers, and the smallest for me. The second one is bright graffiti style music notes going around my left wrist, I drew it out so that means alot and i love listening to music, going to shows, and playing it. I wanted to get something i knew i cared about and always would. The next one will be a fleur de lis, i know everyone here has one(new orleans)but we have alot of pride, and i designed it so itll still be pretty original.

I have a paw print on my lower right back with my dogs name below it. He died a year ago Dec 23 and he was my best friend growing up. He went really fast and unexpectidlly so it was a bit of a shock. We're not a big picture taking family but I thought the paw print would be fitting. Now he is always with me.
