Why just a fart? I would pinch a loaf off and leave it in there. Or if he has an office of his own, staple a kipper under his desk and let him look for the smell after a few days.

Really! No you shouldn't. Be a bigger person and tell him to have a nice weekend. But if he has a favorite inkpen you could put it where it will take him awhile to find or hide it and then put it back at the end of the day.
