If you can run 3 miles, you will be fine with the physical stuff. You don't have to be in super shape, because you catch up quickly. Anyone who has been there, male or female, will tell you the same thing - it's all mental. They play crazy games like have you pack and unpack 250 times in a row, run you back and forth from place to place, and make you do things you have no idea how to do or why you would even do them in the first place.

If you just let go of everything and tell yourself you are in another world and play the game, you will do fine.

Like the others said, start running. Work on your upper body strength, as well. Talk to your recruiters about how it will be and ask those who have just come back. It is tough, but not impossible!
