I have poor circulation so that could be a contributary factor as my feet were very cold the other night. Could it just be a swelling or could it be something worse?

I would go to the doctor. It could be an injury that is not getting the circulation it needs to repair itself.

Sounds like it could be a verruca - a chiropodist would be a good person to check this out for you. It would be helpful to have more information with this question to get a thorough & helpful response. Good luck
