Everybody's weight seems to stay the same exept mine. Unless I count calories it goes haywire because I have no idea how much I need to eat. Also , how is it possible for people who do not weigh themselves or count calories to keep their weight the same? do they just know instinctivly how much to eat without thinking?? because I can tell when I'm hungry and when I'm full but this doesn't seem to make any difference

I would say the trick is to eat only when you are hungry, and eat only moderate amounts. I am not sure but I would say that you can eat almost anything you want as long as you eat a moderate amount. I am now around the 170 weight range and have maintained my weight all through my 30's. I only eat twice a day some days but my body is used to that. I would suggest that you experiment a bit and see if even eating up to 6 meals a day (but only small portions) works for you. I would also say to eat only enough that you will be able to use up until your next meal, this way your body will not start storing fat. Exercise is helpful also, and I am not saying you have to run 2 miles or go to a gym and weight lift, just take a few minutes throught the day to do say 20 jumping jacks or something to just get your heartrate up to burn some excess calories, heck you can even park towards the back of the parking lot where you shop to walk to the store to help assist burning some calories.

If you gain weight when you aren't counting calories, of course, it is because your caloric intake is too much.

If you don't want to continue cutting down on your food intake and dieting, honestly, the best advice I can give you is to start exercising very regularly. If you exercise for an absolute minimum of 30 minutes a day, every day, (aerobic exercise is best), then you will probably be shocked. I learned myself. The regular exercise every day speeds up your metabolism and will allow you to eat more, and you will probably lose a little weight at the same time.

Now this will not happen immediately. It might take three months for you to start seeing a difference. It takes some time to speed up your metabolism.

Several years ago I got a morning paper route in the apartment complex where I lived for extra money. Monday through Saturday it took about 40 minutes to deliver all of the papers. On Sunday it took about 3 hours. I was walking up one and two flights of stairs to deliver these papers. I was not dieting, but lo and behold, approximately after three months of delivering these papers, I got on the scale. I had lose 7 pounds and hadn't even dieted. I continued to lose more weight until I stablized myself at a weight loss of 15 pounds. I had this paper route for about a year.

After I quit the paper route, within four months or so, I had put back on five pounds and have even gained a few more pounds since.

There is no doubt in my mind that regular exercise helps immensely, and I highly recommend it for people who want to lose weight and get fit.

If you are not disciplined enough to make yourself exercise everyday, then get a walking paper route!!!!! You will make extra money, and at the same time, lose weight and get a lot more fit!

Good luck!!!!!

Chances are you are used to eating a certain way - changed your eating habits to lose weight then went right back to the old ways - old habits die hard, lol. I am guilty of it as well, only I havent lost the weight I know I should.

Find things you enjoy to eat that are healthy - they help maintain your wieght - drink things that do not use 1/2 your calorie intake throughout the day like MY COKES, lol... told you I was guilty... Eat healthy and only treat yourself to the guilty things once in a while - lets say once a month for a slice of chocolate cake or something - just be smart about it.

even with I do, I make confident I drink a lot of water. i'm 5"4 and three quarters and one hundred thirty pounds. the most I''ve weighed replaced into 143 and that i got here upon that I nonetheless appeared nice at that weight. In extreme college (being 115pounds) I became passionate about my weight because some females criticized me for being too skinny. i could not help it, all there ever replaced into to eat at residing house replaced into beans and rice morning, day and nighttime. there replaced into also the alternative of eggs too or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. on occasion, there replaced into pork which replaced right into a real take care of. Now, someone can in elementary words eat a lot of a similar element generic without feeling ill. So i got here upon myself eating at different peoples houses to eat meat. although, that eating routine will save you at a low weight and also you could get the protein you want with beans or peanut butter. when I were given into foster care, I took great element about eating to the point the position it became gluttonous. i do not imagine 143 replaced right into a foul weight although the quantity i replaced into eating replaced into ridiculous. Now that i'm on my own, I eat even with i go with yet with moderation. I drink a lot of water and that i experience this is what helped me narrow down somewhat a lot.

Some people have higher metabolism rate which helps too digest food faster. That's why they know just right time when they had enough.

In your case, I think that you should exercise more. Use stairs instead of lift or elevator. Walk to the stores instead of driving a car. Go swimming on the weekend. It is not that hard if you burn all those calories more than you consume them.

I like to snack on Kashi pumpkin spice granola bars they are delicious but if you are staying away from carbs and such enjoy a wiggly fridge. Good luck and big hugs.

Eat everything in moderation, that is the key. Instead of eating a full serving of something, eat half of it- like sandwiches, burgers, eat half of what you would usually eat...even if you do not feel full, give it a few minutes and you will feel content...I exercise regularly and eat whatever I want but not in big portions- and I can maintain for the time being...plus mixing up your workout routine is good to do every now and then...

Your problem is you are eating until you are "full." You need to only eat until you aren't hungry anymore. It is very very difficult to do because you don't get the satisfaction of being full, however, in many other cultures that is the way they eat, and that is why they don't have quite the weight problem we have in North America.
