How much does the most basic/cheapest PhotoShop cost??? and where can i buy it?

You can buy Photoshop Elements for about $99

It's pretty much Photoshop, but without all the fancy bells and whistles. If you're just doing personal stuff and not professional work, then it'll be more than enough to work with.

You can also sometimes buy an older version of Photoshop but it'll still run you a couple hundred dollars.

EDIT: Oh, you can buy Photoshop Elements anywhere they sell software (Best Buy, etc), or even from the official Adobe website. They sometimes have specials on the official website, so keep an eye on them.

I looked it up on walmart.com and the cheapest full version was around $150.00 ( Way to much, if you ask me!)

When looking to buy, I usually go to www.bizrate.com and run a search. You will get a list of retailers by price. This link is for "photoshop."

If you have any other specific program in mind, I have Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8, run a search for that. This is one terrific program.

campus bookstore. Price is about half.
Try Campustech.com or Comp USA.
Otherwise, try MacMall. If you're buying
for a PC it will be cheaper than for a Mac.
