There was a recent article on that passage from the Koran...
"72 Virgins"....... incorrect translation.
"72 Virginian's"....... correct translation.
A bunch of guys from the Commonwealth of Virginia in the USA.
As to the Women...... after putting up with such a screwed up set of tribal laws all misinterpreting the Quran. I hope they get to watch the Virginians take care of each of those men as they arrive.
Mohammad never intended for the women to be made into virtual prisoners or slaves by the various tribal laws. He sought to free them, but that only lasted for two centuries before even HIS word was "re-interpreted"..... He would be humbly ashamed and greatly angered of the state of most of the Muslimahs now.....

There's nothing in the religion about 72 virgins in paradise for a man. Let me refer you to a previous answer regarding this topic:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aq2a6ahh5mssKxvvTHCOVzLsy6IX?qid=1006042116045&show=7#profile-info-AA11074563
Q: What, in Islam, happens to women when they die?
I mean, we've all heard about the virgins for men and all that but what is supposed to happen to the women? Seriously, I'm really curious.
A: Actually, there's nothing in the Quran that speaks of any number of virgins in heaven, that is just a stereotypical rumor that some have decided to spread against Islam.
It DOES however, mention a great ammount of "houris" which is a non-gendered creature of light and beauty (no mention of any sexual nature), and is meant for both the men AND the women. No one is certain what their purpose is, we can only speculate.
To further answer your question, the descriptions of heaven aren't meant only for a man or woman, but both genders enjoy all of it's bounties. What few descriptions are given aren't necessarily and exact of heaven itself, but merely the best representation that can be given to us at this time. God tells us that even our greatest imaginations of the beauty and bounties of heaven cannot compare to the real thing, as it is beyond our understanding. So when the Quran describes heaven as "gardens beneath which rivers flow" it is simply giving us a small explanation in the best way that we can understand. The holy lands rest in the mostly barren deserts, so to describe that the heavens will consist of gardens and springs ("beneath which rivers flow") is showing the desert folk just how rewarding it can be, so that they will work for it, making the best of this life in preparation for the next.
I hope this helped you.

I think the question is for muslims.
Simple answer is Man is in genral term and it means all the muslims including women,so a women can aslo get 70 virgins.
Other thing is heaven is not about sex, there is alot but non muslims are hyping 70 virgins because its strange as muslims cant have open sex in this world.
and thirdly why do you care its our heaven and we are ok with that. You can do anything in your heaven ,we wont stop or critisize you.LOL

A woman get the same thing as a man. They both get hell unless they have believe and trusted that the Lord Jesus Christ died for their sins. Mark 9: 46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

That is one of the things I found puzzling about Islam. You kill yourself to furthur Islam and your reward in heaven is sex. Doesn't sound very "spiritual" to me.
