Just to clarify. The very first verse in the Bible says "In the beginning God CREATED the heavens and the earth".
To go on from there on Genesis says God created light, then sky, then land and the vegitation on it. Then stars and the sun. In verse 20 God says "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." After this God created the animals of the land , then finally the first man and woman.
Genesis does say that man and woman were created in God's image, however the general consis is that this doesn't make us watered down gods, but more pictures that reflect God and his attributes.
As to when Genesis (and the next four books which were also written by Moses) was written, no one really knows. The only thing we know about Moses's time on the mountain was that he met God there and recieved the stone tablets from God with His Ten Commandments for the Israelites on them.

"In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth."
Genesis 1:1

I'm not exactly sure what the question here is, but I think the scriptures speak for themselves.

"And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."

Also, the idea that Moses wrote Genesis has never been totally agreed upon. There are various theories as to who wrote it or if Moses did, what records and texts did he utilize.

Here's a link to one such theory.

See. You have to figure this out. There is no any others other than God that was written to have created what was to be created. In that line of thinking, the whole of the universe was the creation of God. I am not ruling out other books which claim that God created the universe and other living things. Each has its own version but all point to that it was the works of God in the creation.

What....

Genesis 1
The Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

Think you need to re-read it.

There are two versions of Genesis and both are related back-to-back. In the beginning was the Elohim (multiple gods), creating man in *their* image. Then, Yahwah left them, created his own garden and made a man in his image. This is why he could not create a woman, because Yahwah is male - so he did not have the image of woman (DNA?) to create from. Later, when Cain slew Abel and left the garden, he encountered other "tribes". These 'other' folk were those created by the Elohim. So, the god of the Jews (and subsequently the Christians and Muslims) is a particular tribal god. In that my family does not originate from the Middle East (my family's tribe did not come from there), I do not believe in their god. My ancestors - my folk, my tribe - had their own gods; and they left behind a great wealth of wisdom for all of their kind to follow (or not).

You have one thing right,You just looked in the Bible , Try reading it. God did not happen by a chaotic earth and fix it.He did create it, and yes when Moses was there for forty days He was with God

I'm not quite sure theres a question here.
However, genesis means beginning, yeah duh! Moses wrote it - probably, makes sense. On the mountain, yeah I can see where you get that personally i don't think he did.

The bit where it says god came down to earth i think you'll find it also says the world was made through him and so was everything in it.

Re read Genises 1:1-12 again. A good practice is to pray before reading the Bible opening the mind to recieve God's word.
