Well, God bless you. You are doing exactly as you're supposed to. The closer you are to Jesus, the closer you are to Heaven. Remember that we cannot be like Jesus on our own; it takes the grace from heaven to help us do this. We do not have the strength. Pray to Jesus and keep close to Him. Cooperate with the Holy Spirit. Living a Christ-like life means doing what Christ would have done. Help your fellow man, do not judge, be kind to all and follow the word of God. Follow the doctrines of your church. Lead by example and let your actions speak for you. Do not do things for the aproval of others.

if u asked jesus to be ur saviour u won't go to Hell
to be like Jesus doesn't happen by one time but by every step forward u take in faith with every obeying to God and that will take years and years and may be u will die before accomplish that.
remmeber one thing that God always looks on ur heart desire not on the work u do. it wont happen by ur power
only through him
and if failed don't worry God will help u each time and left u up again and again and again

You can be like Jesus by being an upright human being. Simply treat others as you would like to be treated. And dont worry, no one went to hell for trying to be a good person.
