My daughter is 24 years old and is diagnosed with malignant hypertention.shes loosing part of her sight and gets lesions on her brain.she seen a specialist then no-one else will continue health care because she has no medical.shes ending up in the emergency room every week now.she crys because she knows she will die at this rate very young. She is on 4 different medications and a patch for her blood pressure.pay is out of pocket , without them she would die in one week. We cant regulate her blood pressure and I fear that her life will be cut short. The test that have been run is ultra sounds on the heart, stress test, ct scans, M.R.I.s, blood test, urine tests, and they know that she has some damage to the kidneys allthough they haven't done extensive test on the kidneys and I am not sure why. She is weak, and sick most of the time . since she only weights 111 and is 5ft 7 what could cause this?

Why are you still with this Doctor?? I am not sure why this is happening to her, the body is so sensitive. Look at what food she eating and what is really in it. Even you cleaning products can have a negative effect on your body and how it functions. From shampoo to laundry detergent it id all loaded with chemicals. Read your labels and if you do not know what it is then look it up. If it were my daughter we would switch to all organic food and natural products fo every day use.
If you have a health food store, walk in with her medicine and ask if they can help you list possible side effects. The pharmaceutical company is a billion dollar industry, they often tell us we need things and leave out the other illnesses these medications cause. Check out what she is taking and find out what else it could be doing.
I am a yoga instructor and have several students who have suffered from high blood pressure, diabetes and so on. Yoga is a wonderful way to regulate the pancreas, lower blood pressure, improve strength etc... There are so many different branches of yoga which could be beneficial. Look into kripalu and hatha yoga first. I hope this helps and good luck to you. Feel free to contact me.

My heart goes out to you, and her.

O.k., Why can't she get Medicaid from her state that would cover? Or a hospital clinic card? At least that should help her get better coverage.

Try www.webMD.com I've heard they are really good.

my only other thought would be a renal mra or angiogram to check for blockages in the arteries leading to the kidneys.
