I know what it is like. Been there done it. Now I am in my own home so I am not controlled by the landlord who lived next door. An every day disturbance and annoyance that entire family was. They made our basement into their three sons club house. Summer was the worst. My husband and I foot the bill on the electric and heat they were using and when we complained they said. "We just can't seem to care and what are you going to do about it?"

I would rather not experience a true meaning of that feeling.
People in this country (USA) may say things like " A Democrat, A republican, a christian or a Muslim...yada yada."
Truly, they have no clue what it might mean not to have any freedom.

The closest I came to it was my ex-husband.
I know it's not a serious answer, sorry.... but
the closest I ever came to dictatorship and definitely
had no freedom and/or voice.
I try to think of people in other countries who all run
around like that ... makes me thankful to be an American.

No and I hope none of us ever find out, that is why we sometime engage in war, to keep our freedom. Be thankful, we have others that are doing the fighting for us.

As Americans, the only way this can happen is if we willing, as individuals, give ourselves to an outside agency for all decision making.

yeah, i know what that is like, I did six years in the illinois derpartment of corrections for robbing a bank. So yes, I know what that is like.
