i own a repair shop, and right now,,with out a doubt,it has to be a good Toyota corolla there one of the best cars on the road right now,,and a good Nissan sentra would probably be the second best to that one,,i do a lot of work at my shop, and i hardly ever get either one of those kind of cars to work on because they don't give that much trouble,,they,ll out last most other cars real easy,,and there's a reliable car also,,but that's the two best ones i know of,,good luck,i hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.

Any Toyota or Lexus for their reliability, build quality, fuel efficiency, and overall ability to give you peace of mind. Look on the Edmunds.com website to check out the specs on a particular model and read reviews from real people that already own these cars. As is true with any car, if you buy it from a private owner, have it inspected and run a Carfax on it to see if the title is clean, how many owners its had, and check its smog test record.

With modern electronics they're all extremely reliable so in the end it boils down to personal choice. I like Nissan, VW, Toyota, and Vauxhall/Opel. Manual or auto? Air con? Sunroof? Electric windows? Good music system? Most important of all is to make sure you feel comfortable driving it.
Good hunting.
