In a 1/2 keg of beer, which is what most people call a keg, there are 15.5 gallons which is 1,984 ounces. A full keg is 31 gallons and a 1/4 keg is 7.75 gallons. Cheers...

Half keg is 15.5 gallons full keg is naturally 31 gallons most commomn size is the half keg

I had a similar issue, my step-mother pushing for bottled beer. We ended up doing a keg, but put it behind the bar and served it in nice glasses (not plastic cups usually associated with kegs). It kept my cost low but added a little more class.

a 16 gallon keg is 2,048 oz or

about 170 12 oz cups

or 128 us pints

Roughly:
1/2 barrel = 1,984 oz, 15.5 gal, 160 glasses
1/4 barrel = 992 oz, 7.75 gal, 80 glasses
