She is helping to point out the problems with islam as practised in the middle east. As to whether its a help to Islam, it all depends on how u define islam. Definitely a help to moderation of islam and a threat to fundamental islam. Well, then again, what's moderate and what's fundamental?

No, lol, she is not a threat to Islam. Why not? Well if anything were to become a threat, it would mean that it has to shake the core of the recieving end, in this case the religion of Islam. Islam exists in the hearts of billions of followers all over the world, from the most modern, fast-paced cities to the most modest, nomadic tent camps. So many people (especially after 9-11) have learned about Islam from valid sources and understand it. Many have accepted it as their own religion, while some have settled for accepting it as a genuine religion while keeping their own. Even many historians and scientists (non-Muslim) have come to favor Islam because of it's core values and teachings. To be a threat to Islam, Wafa Sultan would have to become a threat to every one of these individuals, and that's just impossible for one little old lady seeking attention to do.

Nothing is a threat to Islam, it will remain strong no matter how haters will try to ruin it's true image.

i dont think she is a threat to islam. what she is saying is correct but at the same time shes not looking at what muslims are going through in palestine, iraq etc.... it is wrong for kids or whoever to wrap bombs around their waist and go blow up, but at he same time we have to look at what their going through.
