It depends on you. Some CFI's will barter their time in exchange for other things. Personally, since I work full time, if a student pays for the plane and gas I'll usually give instruction away for free. I do it for the fun of it, and because I like teaching, not for the money. Also, I need more hours to lower my insurance rates. Typically, you won't find the best or most experienced CFI's doing this, because they realize what their time is worth.

There is no FREE pilot training anywhere in the world. Sorry. If you want it badly enough, you'll figure a way to pay for flight training. You're also too old to have a reasonable shot at flying for a major airline.

Join the military, or if in Canada , the Air Cadets. That's as close to "Free" as you will get. Aviation is not a poor mans sport.

About the only thing in Aviation I ever got FREE was bad advice........
about what you get here!!.
Even in the military, training is NOT free. You must serve at least 6 (or so) years or else uncle Sam will bill you for the training!
If you cannot afford to pay for training, then flying...perhaps aviation is not for you.
Good luck with your pursuit!.

Get reallly good grades and earn an academic scholarship to a University with a good aviation program or join the military. Those are your options. I suppose you might get lucky and just happen to meet a multi-millionaire who has nothing better to do than pay for your training, but its unlikely.

No such thing.

Even in the military you still have to pay to get your private pilot license.
