I've been using the conditioner and it's not great. It leaves the hair very heavy but doesn't seem to smooth hair or moisturise it, it just feels like it's sitting there sliding around on the hair - no matter how much I wash it out.
I won't be buying it again.
Superdrug Henna shampoo and conditioner seem to be the best I've tried this year.

John Freida is ok, avoid drandruff shampoos as they can strip your hair only use these when needed.
Most shampoo's are almost identical concentrate more on getting a really good conditioner, the john freida ones are good. Make sure with teh conditioner that you don't use too much and rinse it out well, don't leave any residue as this can make your hair feel lank and greasy.

Sometimes they are going to tell you that so that you will buy the shampoos and conditioners that the salon.
Now, it is winter time and your hair does tend to get dry. I have used John Freida alot. I think it makes my hair nice. You can try to use Pantene Pro-v for brunettes. That is the one im using right now. It works nice.
Aussie, Herbal Essence, Pantene Pro-v are all nice hair products.
I use the Aussie deep conditioner, that helps it from looking soo dryed out.
I think it all has to do with the conditioner you are using. Try using a deep conditioner.

I would have to agree - the John Frieda shampoo/conditioner is really good. It does make your hair soft and sleeker, but I think it depends how often you dye your hair.
Anti-Dandruff shampoos will strip your hair, because they thoroughly clean your scalp for dandruff, so I would recommend a shampoo/conditioner combo that is specifically for giving body to hair. Or use the shampoo and conditioner for different purposes, like a shampoo for body, and a conditioner for soft shine and smoothness.

My hair was pretty dull and I used Pantene Ice Shine shampoo and conditioner and it really does make my hair shiny. I use that and then I use Brilliant Brunette smoothing cream and shine shock before I blow dry and a tiny bit of shine shock after it is dry and the outcome is really soft and shiny.

Hey,
Each person's hair and scalp are different.
I first tried John Freida Brilliant Brunette about 1.5 years ago, and have not used anything else since.
I love it! It makes my hair very shiny.
I definitely recommend it.
I think you should have asked your hairdresser to recomend you something. She is the one who know what your hair is like, what your scalp skin needs, etc.
Good luck

I've used it before and I liked it a lot. I also found that after a while, hair wasn't as conditioned as it was at first so I felt it was drying out my hair. I had to go back to Pantene and Garnier Fructis.

I have never heard if it is "good" for your hair, but I used it awhile back...it was wonderful once I started using it, but after I had been using it a long time, I found my hair to be really limp and lifeless too. I would recommend Biolage or Paul Mitchell...both of those always seem to work good and plus they use them in salons too. Biolage smells better (:

I never had any problem with it. When my hair was dark, it actually made it look so much better. If I went a week without using it, my hair got dull and faded, but when I used it again- the color came back.

I've tried the shampoo myself, and can't really complain about....try a build-up remover shampoo (boots) and an instant rescue hair treatment (v05). hope it helps.xx.
