We have been bestfriends for years now, then suddenly we just found ourselves in each others arms. We are still seeing other people yet we cant seem to stop seeing each other intimately. Lately, the word I love you came into the scene. Im confused. Can bestfriends turn into lovers? How can you tell if the love you feel for your bestfriend now is the kind of love you would feel for a boyfriend?

best friends usually become loves.
because you both understand ea other well
& you both can tell ea other your probs.

i think its a wonderful opportunity
& a start to a beautiful relationship.

in my opinon yes best friends can be turned into lovers because u already have developed that friend relationship with each other so there is nothing left but to fulfill each others wants and needs and i think that thats the best love ever. The way u can tell that ur love is for a boyfriend instead of bestfriend is if u feel that certain intimacy when ur around him instead of what u used to feel when ever u did "Friend Things"

It's actually a very good thing that your lover and boyfriend is also your best friend, it gives the relationship another depth and dimension, while your intimacy is deep, you know it's not just fleeting lust.
Now for the hard part: you are both seeing other people and you need to make sure that the both of you end your relationships with them before starting your own.
Also, please make absolutely certain that you are not turning for each other for sexual comfort just because you might be lacking something in your respective relationship with those other people you are seeing.
You need to explore your new found love without other distractions and without harming other people, that is just cheating, and what for? You don't want to ruin a great thing,
Your best friend is now your lover, That's great!
Good luck to you<

Wow, that's a tough question.

Sometimes, being close to people creates the illusion of a strong connection that could lead to a relationship. SOMETIMES it actually DOES lead to stronger feelings.

You have to step back and ask yourself if you feelings for him have changed. If they have, then maybe you are ready to be lovers. If you have the same feelings you've always had, then maybe all you have is a **** buddy.

This is something you need to figure out on your own, but I do think bestfriends can be lovers, I just don't think that it is common.

Once you figure out how you really feel about him, it should clear things up for you!

Good Luck!

yes than can. being close and knowing each other for many years can lead to a romantic relationship between a guy and a gal. Just let things flow. you'll see or your self. I dont think there is any specific way to tell. If you feel you love each other then thats theway it is. why mess up things by thinking so much. The added advantage is that the person is not new to you, you ha e known him for so long. All the best!

Yes best friends can be lovers and they can also have a wonderful lasting relationship especially where it started as a friendship first. I would discuss it further with your best friend and see where he wants to go with it. If you are both seeing other people then I dont know where the love thing came into play...if you are in love with eachother you wouldnt have the need or desire to be with anyone else. I suggest a heart to heart talk.

I think that bestfriends can absolutely be lovers you just need to ask yourself if your feelings are strong enough for him to know if you want to be his lover.Becoming a lover with someone who was previously a best friend is the best kind of relationship you ncan have b/c yall already know that can share things between each other, and yall already had a strong friendship,so just ask yourself how much u like him.

Yes, best friends can turn into lovers and sometimes it works out really well. But sometimes trying to be lovers can break up a friendship. Make sure you talk to each other and be honest about your feelings and try your best to do whatever it is you need to do to maintain the friendship. IGood Luck.

I would do a couple of my (girl) best friends. Not strictly for the sex, and not that I want a relationship with them, but I love them in a pure way. Unfettered by jealousy, posession, and distrust, I would like to physically show them how I emotionally feel about them.

But once you do it, it will be forever different. You gotta make sure you're willing to accept awkwardness if you do, because it WILL be awkward at some point.

the best friend tends to become a lover when a feeling of seperation ,or a fear of feeling of someone other is also sharing .
there was always love when he was with u,but before there was no selfishness then now the pocessiveness with in u make the love more visible
