Are spelling and grammar not taught in elementary schools anymore? Its one hell of a tribute to our educational system to read some of the horribly slaughtered words on this site.

I don't know if this will make you feel better or not but horrible misspellings happen at Y! A sites all over the world, not just here.

Irishblood, eh: Back home in Ireland the Christian Brothers used to beat me black and blue for spelling mistakes. The worst thing was the rule 'i before e, except after c' and it got me more leatherings than anything else. You see every bus in Ireland at the time had a circle on each side of it with the letters 'C I E' - Corus Iompair Eireann....................

Bring back the leather strap, I say................... (seriously joking).

Ha I couldn't agree more.
Especially when people write "your" and "you're" wrong.That's like 2nd grade.
