My yorkie is 7mths old. Yesterday he started to drool. He hasn't have this problem before. He would layed on my couch and there would be a small wet spot that was left by his drool. His nose is more wetter than usual. Is this normal? What could this mean? The drooling and wetter nose? He is eating the same. He is active as usual. So don't understand.

well i was told a wet nose is a good sign for a dog, a dry nose could mean the dog is ill in some way,...dont know if this is true, but my dog always had a wet nose. unless he baked his tiny jack russell body infront of the fire for 4 hours lol

Check the cleaning products you're using. My dog did the same after I had used a new shower cleaner that prevented mildew. When that happened to my dog, I found him lying in a pool of saliva - very dramatic, and not like anything I'd seen before. I don't believe it was a seizure (no poop, no pee, no noise) but he was uncomfortable that day, before the drooling happened, and couldn't settle down. There are a number of cleaning products that can cause this - and I believe there was a similar question asked here a few days ago (you can do a search for it). To save you a vet visit - when I took Flop to the emergency room, they couldn't tell me much. I'm not making light of this at all - but I'd say first to mop your floors etc with a natural product and be sure he's not reacting to anything in your home.

He might have a little cold. My 7 month old puppy drools and her nose is wet when she gets a cold.
