I am a firm believer that couples do not need to share everything with their significant other. Clearly there are certain things that should be shared like if you have a child from a previous relationship, if you have a conviction or illness but these are matters that can affect a relationship and things they shoudl be told.
On the flip side, there are things that will have no bearing on the relationship..........like how many people you have been with as these type of "SECRETS" can have a detrimantal effect and you shouldn't be held accountable for things you did in your past and could cause your other half pain.

Some secrets you just can't share cause it always comes back to get thrown in your face. I will never open my mouth about some things ever again.I learnt my lesson the hard way.Although I know the guy I'm with is nothing like my ex I just couldn't show how very vulnerable I am.
