I'm comparing two similar systems--one has what is called "USB Direct" connection on the front of it. Does this mean I can use my MP3 player with it?

This allows you to connect a mp3 player, flash drive or digital camera via USB to view pictures and songs. Typically, mp3, wma and jpg are the only supported file formats. You will have to check the documentation for that home theater system.

yeppers bud. I love my USB on there. The one i got lets me hook my hard dirives on there to, lets me accesss all my music and movies and photos on the TV and bypass the interfaces.
