YES! I HATE getting up before dawn every morning. And the sun goes down as I'm leaving work.

I don't live in a very cold climate, so I enjoy the longer nights and colder weather. I love coming into the nice warm house after walking the dogs; the change is exhilarating, and something that I don't get in warm weather.
I love seeing stars for so many more hours than in the Summer. I love the soft edges of everything, and the fact that so few people are outside in the evenings. When I walk the dogs after dark, it's like they and I are the only living things, It's peaceful.
And yes, I look forward to the lengthening days, too.
Each season has it's beauty.

I am enjoying the darkness this year. I enjoy watching the seasons. I visualize the Earth hurtling through space and revolving and tilting in the Sun's rays. While I hold on with my toes!

Naw I bring the train to work every morning I like to sleep.. Without the sun in my eyes it's more pleasant.. Jim

Ooh! One fin raised really high right here. I hate waking up in the dark and going home in the dark.
