does it take a long time to gain weight

if they eat a lot in each day does this make them gain weight?

Yes, they do....assuming the disease doesn't kill them off, of course.

Yes with a good diet, to adjust the body, there is no reason why at a later time, the body should return to normal and they will put on or adjust their weight to how they want it. It was only the anorexic disorder that kept the weight at bay.

Yes they can gain weight. Even while being anorexic they can gain weight. Because the are depleting their body of essential nutrients, causing their levels of protien and albumin to drop; which makes then swell.

If they begin to eat and drink fluids they will begin to gain back their weight. If they were anorexic and have worries or questions about nutrition so they won't gain back unwanted pounds, they need to seek advice from their doctor or nutritionist.

People that used to be anorexic screw up their metabolism. So in some cases they end up gaining more weight.

they will gain alot of weight if they quit their anorexic ways that's what happen to me, i use to eat 500 calories a day then i quit and i gain 15 pounds immediately it was bad

People who are anorexic starve their bodies .... once they stop they will continue to gain weight as a normal, healthy human being. They will not continue to lose weight that way unless they are still starving themselves.

Yes they can gain weight. Anorexia is a physcological disorder. They have dissorted imagines of themselves when they look at their bodies. Say they are 90lbs, when they look in the mirror, instead of seeing thin, they see themselves has being 190lbs.

they can still gain weight, but need to do it the healthy way. there is no better time than recovering from anorexia to learn to eat healthy!!!
