Awww! That is so sweet! I would find small things that represent Paris....like a small replica of the Eiffel Tower...maybe get a French Beret....(those funky flat hats!) Anything that would make her think of Paris...and wrap them up...give her the conformation details last...

Or...you could send her on a scavenger hunt through the house and use the same kind of items as the 'next clue'...we did that when we bought our son a car one year...

Hope this helps!

Merry Christmas!

Buy a postcard or small print of a Paris scene (like the Eiffel Tower) and put in in an envelope with the confirmation details.

Oh you should do a little treasure hunt and each place have a small gift with something that resembles France have a little clue to move on to the next place until she finally reaches the last one, put the confirmation in a large envelope you can cover this in coloured paper, decorate it with bows tinsel etc. It is a lovely suprise

I had a similar situation for my partner - on one of our first dates I said for her to come round to my place to watch Moulin Rouge - I also tricked her into bringing her passport. What I actually did was take her to the Moulin Rouge in Paris to see the real show. I would thus suggest something similar, give her a DVD or a book or something related to Paris and slip the tickets inside it. Or you could be really surreal and give her a croissant, pain au chocolat or a bagette with the paperwork stuffed inside! Good luck anyway and if you get the chance, take her to the Moulin Rouge (or The Lido on the Champs Elysee)

Google Paris, print pictures of landmarks and other areas, try to find pictures of the hotel you'll be staying in...

make a small scrapbook, showing what the trip will be like,

google restaurants in Paris, see if you can get copies of the menus...

get a Frecnh / English book - so you'll know key phrases, etc ( assuming that you dont' speak French).

Buy her a something nice to wear while she's there and give that to her also...

How about presenting her with a card and cutting pictures of say, the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysees and L'Arc de Triomphe inside with details of the flight and accomodation stuck inside?

Just an idea but I'm sure you could adapt it to suit you best.

Design a little invitation on the computer eg "you've been invited to Paris" and personalise it with pictures. Then give it to her in a small present box. Or buy a cheap little teddy bear and attached the invitation to it.

Buy a cheesy little mini Eiffel Tower keyring and put it in a box and wrap it up all nice! Make her guess what the real present is.
