I’m a Christian and Love the Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart.
But I’m sorry to tell you that Christ is not the reason for the season.
Go look it up.
It’s shocking.

Ha ha, satanist. You do know that Christians invented that word. I'm an atheist, and I sometimes celebrate Christmas with my friends and family. It is not a tradition because I'm a chinese living in Malaysia. The most celebrated festival of my race is the Chinese New Year. Merry Christmas!

I celebrate it as a family holiday, not a christian one. Christians forget that the origins of christmas were actually pagan in nature, not christian. It is just one of many things the christians borrowed for their own cause.

What a wonderful time for people to get on together, be happy together, be tolerant of each other and look for everyone to be happy.
Pity the Christians cannot be part of that!! They are so insistent that they own Christmas they seek to exclude everyone else from it. They say no one should be allowed to do anything but celebrate their religious festival. How totally exclusive and so outrageously against the Bible teachings and the true loving and forgiving religion that Christianity is - (outside of the US and the UK that is!!)
Leave these poor people to their misery. They seek only to dominate the world with their beliefs and are totally intolerant of everyone else. Feel sad for them but happy for everyone that can truly celebrate together this happy time of year!!

I celebrate a family get-together. Since some of my family is Christian, there's a certain amount of "Merry Christmas"ing that goes on, and I'm happy to wish them a Merry Christmas.
My well-wishing is not limited to those who share my religion.
For me, it's a social thing, with gifts for the young ones in the family, a lot of good food, and a chance to dress up.

I believe that Christians should celebrate it as just a holiday and not the birth of Christ since he was not born on dec 25th

I tend to celebrate it as a holiday of giving, friendship, and family. I also celebrate Yule. I love the warmth of this season and the twinkle-y lights at night! :o)

I personally do not celebrate ANY holiday.
I do not judge others for their celebration, but I cannot see having fun by going into debt to give gifts I will pay for during the next year, and then complain because I am in debt.
That's like buying and paying for something, then complaining about the price.
No one forces anyone to do these things, yet I see so much depression because of holidays that I wonder what they are really for.
