What is a RAR. FILE is it MPEG file also if not what installer i will use to convert the file please help me tHANKS A LOT

Rar files are archives that contain other types of files. It can contain txt files, mpeg files, doc files, etc. To really use the file that is archived you have to use Win Rar. You can download it free from here:

Rar is compressed file format like Zip. You can use 7-zip to decompress the files. Inside the compressed file you can have an MPEG file also. See sources for 7-zip (de)compresser.

A rar file is a compressed file that needs to be expanded first.

RAR is an archive format, like Zip or TAR.
You need a complete archive program, like 7-zip.

There are many others, but 7-zip is a free opensource program and works very well. Hard to beat free and good, isn't it?
