I hope you are not what men label as "ugly". You have to understand why they label some girls in this way. Why do they seem to be so shallow, bad, inconsiderate etc. ? Many women are very bad persons, they want money, they cling to men, they seek financial security and don't seek love, they WANT but don't GIVE anything in return; they don't know what love is and pick holes in other people's coat; physical beauty is not lived for long and in time everyone loses it.
Try to be different from these women.
So if a guy (man or woman) labels you as "ugly" don't worry about your physical aspect; worry about how you appear in other people's eyes, worry about what you said and NOT about what you were wearing or not wearing, NOT about if you had make-up or not, NOT about your hair-colour, boots, etc.
Maybe you have too high standards, maybe you are a bad person, maybe you make them feel bad... think about it.
Men don't seek external beauty. They want more.
Smile, a smile goes a long way.
If this guy is interested in you, I'm sure he's interested in more than your physical beauty. I tell you: you can be sure you have MORE than external beauty if you attracted his attention.
Smile, be funny, interested in what he has to say, this will make him love you for what you have in the inside.
To make him love you for what you have on the outside, smile, don't speak so much, look good, be "decorative"...
Don't forget to make it easier for him to get closer to you!!! ...closer in what way you want, only you can know it... don't be too shy to take INITIATIVE!!! If you had only one boyfriend in 26 years, than IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO TAKE THE "INITIATIVE", it doesn't matter if you are a girl and think that it's not appropriate for a girl to take "initiative"... So invite him to your house (if you don't live with your parents). And if he brings you flowers you can bet YOU are on the right "track"...
If you don't like him however, don't waste time with him, because life is short and you will regret the time you were young...
Really now... you didn't date for 3 years? ...women... why didn't you date? Life is short! Live your life, don't let other people live your life instead of you, they don't deserve it! You are young only once in your life and it's a short period of time...

Goog luck.
If you need a friend and if you are 26 years old or at least above 19, you can write me, my email is johnny_sibiu@yahoo.co.uk. I am about your age too.
I hope you understand what I want to tell you above.

go for it.I got out of a 6 year relationship with a man that was 13 years older and now I'm dating a younger guy and believe me is great.Younger guys are easier to train and are eager to please. So go for it.It could be the best thing you'll ever do for yourself.
