That's the best price I can find right now, but wondering if I should wait a month or two to see if a better price is posted. What's your experience been?

You should wait a month or two. You will definitely find a better price to Paris from NYC. Toward the end of January, check out Air France's web site www.airfrance.us and they usually post sales for airline tickets. You should be paying about $450 which includes taxes and security.

Sounds good to me. It's a gamble if you wait the prices could go down, or they could go up. It's happened to me. I've booked a ticket on an itinerary from Atlanta to LAX for $300.00 then the next day someone decided to go with me and I booked another ticket but it cost me $50.00 more. I've had it go othe other way too. Where a couple of days later the itinerary went down by $50 to $100. You never know. $550 sounds like a good price to me, even if it goes down you'll know $550 was still a good price. Ya win some ya lose some.

You will probably save a few bucks if you wait to buy until after the holidays. Preholiday prices tend to be higher even for travel in March. After, they should drop the pricesto lure the spring traveler. Make sure you get those frequent flier miles.

Down to $530 with Air France.

Usually get better offers posted though, maybe wait until January and take a look then?
