My dad doesn't want me to get it done professionally, because I didn't earn it ot something to that effect. I was going to pierce my lobe for the third time on the right ear in an attempt to even it out seeing as I have three gauges on my left ear. Should I disobey my father, or no?

No. No. No. No. Do not pierce your own ear, do not have your friend pierce your ear. I pierced ears professionally (proud to say without that damn gun!) for 3 years so trust me when I say that you would cause yourself so much unneccessary discomfort and for what? To tick your father off? You are obviously still a minor otherwise you would get your ear pierced on your own but if you need your father's permission that also means you need your father's signature on the consent form. You could do permanent damage to your ear, not to mention infections and other nastier problems that could arise from using an unsterile needle in an unsterile environment. You don't know what you're doing, so don't do it.

Talk to your father and see if you can reach a compromise. If not, wait until you can legally do it yourself. Just PROMISE me that when you do get it done (professionally, preferrably, or even if you do it yourself) that you will NOT use a piercing gun. Those things are just as bad as doing it to yourself with a rusty needle! Go see a professional who uses hollow needles.

i'm not confident that you could do it on your human being, yet once you've a pal who's prepared that ought to really help you should do it. My mom pierced my ears, and a variety of of different persons's. you'll favor to numb your ear lobe first. both with techniques from freezing it with an ice dice, or pinching it between a spring-loaded clothespin. Then, utilising a large stitching needle, and your ear lobe placed with a bar of cleansing soap in the back of it, pierce the ear. pulling the needle all with the help of. right now put in an earring. you'll favor to sponge the section, with the earring nonetheless in, with alcohol on a cotton ball. try this a number of situations an afternoon, for some weeks. be confident to curl the earring round interior the piercing hollow many situations an afternoon, to assist interior the healing. this is going to nonetheless damage to do it your self, even though it must be performed, and somewhat effectively!

Uh id say go for it, i did my second holes in my ear lobes, my second cartilage, and my lip all just sitting in my bed room. Ive also done a few of my friends lips and eye brows, nothings ever gotten infected on me or my friends and its so much cheaper, if you do it yourself just make sure you keep everything clean... like as clean as possible. Soak the earrings in peroxide, burn whatever needle youre going to use and rinse it in peroxide (rubbing alcohol if you dont have peroxide) clean your ear and wash your hands. If you were asking to disobey him and go get a tattoo id say NO, been there done that now i have to pay my own car insurance, but the thing about piercings is if it pisses him off too much its easily taken out.

Sure go get it pierced but by a professionl!!! Do not pierce it yourself espcailly if your trying to gauge pierce it.If you are going to pierce it in a standard gauge and stretch it out from there then i guess you could do it yourself, but it wouldnt be a good idea.Even though you may have a lot of piercings you should always go to a professional, they no how to do it and where to do it.Plus the odds of it getting infected doing it yourself or much more higher then going to a Piercer.

NOOOOOOOOOOO. Not only are you seriously breaking your dads trust, but you should NEVER pierce yourself unless you're a professional! Talk to your dad, and see what he thinks you need to do to "earn" it. Some parents can easily be bargained with (I got my belly button pierced when I was TWELVE, my first tattoo when I was sixteen, and my mom held my hand both times), others not so much. If all else fails, you'll be grown soon enough!

Good luck!

I already had 2 holes on each earlobe when I decided to punch in a 3rd hole. I did it myself. Needless to say, both earlobes got infected. I was pretty stubborn and waited for the infection to subside, and then I went to a "professional" to get it done. Got infected again. Moral of the story: Soaking your infected earlobes in an Epsom Salt solution will help the healing process.

It's not a big deal to pierce your own ear, but it is to disobey your father. So, I'd wait until he cools off about you not earning it or whatever.

If u get it professionally done...ur probably gonna get an infection...cuz twice i got my ears pierced professionally and it got infected cuz they used a piercing gun... i took them out and pierced them myself...and they've never gotten infected..but remember if ur gonna pierce yourself disinfect the needle about 10 mins before using it...and clean the piercing with hydrogen peroxide...it works...i have 8 piercings in my ear....SO never get it done professionally...and if u do...maybe a piercer in a tattoo parlor will...

3 gauges on your left ear? that doesnt make sense...but anyways I myself dont see why there is an issue with getting one more when you have so many already but you live in his house and until you are 18 and on your own you have to follow his rules

I pierced my own. Just took the earring and pushed it thru. Never had a infection or any other problems. Good Luck
