Do you remember the show Sheri Lewis did...Lambchop?? That song will cure your Doodlebops right out of your head....
"Its the song that doesn't end. Yes it goes on and on my friend. Some people started singing it not knowing what it was but they'll continue singing it forever just because this is the song that diesn't end....." and it kept going over and over.....aaaaagh. Hopefully that might help. Except it is leaving you with a worse one. I would just leave the room when you know it is coming on and blare some AC/DC or something.

There is a way, but the cure may be worse than the doodlebops bebopping around your head. You have to think of another catchy song to replace it. Once you replace it, you can try and ditch the one that is currently in your head.

Try.... umm.... Brady Bunch theme "there's a story...of a lovely lady....who was bringing up blahblah girls...blahblah just like their mother, the youngest one in curls...."

or the gilligan isle theme "Sit right back and I'll tell the tale...the tale of a fateful trip...."

Yeah, late night with teathing here.

Remeber kid's songs are meant to be catchy. -- Best of luck to you.

I don't have kids, but I work at the Little Gym and we play Sesame Street and the Wiggles all day...I leave with them playing all the time in my head. Blast your IPOD, CD player, TV, whatever you can to try to get a better song stuck in your head. Or scare random people by going up to them and singing part of a song. Thats much more fun :-D

Not just therapy, but SHOCK THERAPY! You've got to fry that baby out of there! Those songs are horrible, and you seem to have triggered my brain to sing Doodlebops. Thanks a lot!

Try replacement therapy. I suggest "The Song That Never Ends". Yes, it goes on and on my friend... some people started singing it, not knowing what it was, and they'll continue singing it forever just because...

You're liking it, I can tell! ;-)

I feel your pain!!!! I used to have the song stuck in my head too!!! And I hate that show! Here's what I did--I quit letting my son watch that show. I swear it took a while, but I finally got it out of my head.
