in a car or a house, LOTS. bose IS overrated and overpriced. trust me, it's not bad but for what you pay you could get better. depends on how picky your listening needs are and how much money you have.

Bose are overrated! They really aren't that good. If you do a sound comparison in the store you can hear the difference.
Nakamichi makes an great stereo and Focal are awesome speakers, but you'll pay for it. I have this system in my car and home and it's worth every penny!

yeah, i would go with Alpine. both are overated, and both have really bad lows.
