ok....I'm looking for a dog...it sorta looks like a husky but it's not...Do u know what breed it is??

omg....there are many many dogs that look like huskeys...lol....go to the akc or ukc web site...

There are lots and lots of dogs that look like husky's. Some dogs range between a Alaskan Klee Kai (mini husky) and a Malamute or Wolf hybrid.
I don't know what you're looking for but here's a few sites.

Could be a number of breeds. The Alaskan Malamute, the Spitz
and the Akita all resemble a husky. Though the Spitz is smaller and white.

Is it a small red Husky looking dog. Then it is a Shiba and I would suggest doing research before EVER purchasing one.

If it looks like a husky and its bigger its probably an alaskan matamute. They are very smart dogs. Or it might be an Akita.

Malamute maybe, but they're usually a little more "fluffy".
Try looking up pics of Malamutes online and see if that's what you're thinking of.
I would also like to add that Malamutes are pretty low on the list as far as intelligence goes. Not to offend anyone, it's a fact.

If you cant tell im a bit of a lover of the spitz type breeds, its hard when we dont have to many specifics, coulour, size, maskings and other recalled features could certainly help more.

akita, alaskan malamute, shiba inu
browse barnes and noble. there are lots of great books with color pictures of all dog breeds. check your listing for an upcoming televised dog show. you'll see them all
