I have never heard of IBC is that only in the US?

I don't know if it is still made, when I was a kid there was a brand called Dad's Old Fashioned Root Beer, it was really good. Does anyone know if it is still made?

A & W has a sweet, "round" taste - I love it! I also like IBC - it's not as sweet - it might only be available here - don't know anything about the producer. It still comes in brown bottles. Barqs is rather like IBC, but not quite as good. Did you know the flavor comes from the root of the Sassafras tree?

I prefer IBC in the bottle, but A&W is my favorite if I am in the restaurant and get it on "tap".

Mug is sweeter than most
I. B. C. is good but expensive
Bart's is sort of bitter
and A & W is middle of the road
I like Mug but they are all good.

Barq's! It's sweet, but not sickening so and it's carbonated so you get the bubbles too!
