What age is your child? How do you do the birthday and Christmas?? Do you separate them? Do them the same day???
My son is turning 2 on Christmas, just wondering what other people do! We are having his party at my moms this Sunday..... then on Christmas we will be at my in-laws and do both Christmas and his birthday :)
What do you do?

I was born on Christmas. My parents always felt bad about it and said I could pick any other day of the year to celebrate as my birthday, but I always wanted to do it on Christmas.

They did a great job of keeping it special. Since I was born in the afternoon, 442, specifically, we would have christmas in the morning, and we'd celebrate my birthday with a big cake every year at exactly 442. It took some major coordinating on my mother's part, I'm sure, to make sure dinner was done, and we were ready for dessert.

We had a problem with my younger brother for a few years because he always cried, thinking I was getting more christmas gifts, and there were none for him. So, my parents usually saved a christmas gift for him to open around birthday time. Being the older sister, I understood.

My little brother was a christmas baby. It is very hard to have birthday parties around this time of year, so my mom started having him birthsay parties in june for like his 1/2 year. It seemed to work pretty well. Also never wrap a birthday present for the child in Christmas paper. It is defintiely not fair to the child.. Hope this helps.

My son will be 16 Christmas day! It was the best gift I could have ever recieved. We do his b-day party on Christmas Eve and always keep it separate. When he was little, we would do cake and stuff at McDonalds...etc...in the a.m. we would sneak into his room put balloons everywhere and sing to him before he realized Santa had come...but now that he is older, we just do family on Christmas Eve. I would keep everything separate, so he doesn't feel (when he gets older) that he is getting jipped? I have always wrapped his stuff in b-day paper / christmas paper whatever we were celebrating...

it is the same birthday celebration for your child who was born on december 25. jesus was not really born on december 25 as known to all. the date was only declared by the pope of rome to celebrate the birth of christ on that day while in fact no one knows the exact date. the origin of christmas is the birth of jesus christ
