Yes. Although they are loyal to each other, they do get lonely when one dies. Get 2 more and give her a choice!

Yes- 99% of birds really aren't truely monogamous couples anyways. The female knows that when the male goes out to find food in the wild, he may or may not come back. During that time, they will breed with other males, keeping their options open to help raise the young if their bonded mate does not come back.
She might not bond with the new male for a while- sometimes it takes a couple weeks, but there should be no problem. If anything, she will like having the company

I would try to bond her with another male. It might take a while, but it is what's best. Birds do go in to depression.

Yes, in the wild they will pair for life - and a premature death of one of them wil force them to look for another partner. It is worth getting a male as it is better for them to have company, and would be the same as natural behaviour.
