Compared to scrambling or boiling it, if you fry the egg just right the yolk will remain liquid. That way you can do stuff with it like put it on top of rice and mix it in so the entire thing has egg in it

the better question would probably be what are not the benifits of deep frying an egg- or any food for that matter.... and the answer would be nothing!!!! Deep frying makes everything better!!! Why would you not fry something- If everything were deep fried and covered in chocolate the world would be a better place- although I did see an episode of the fairly oddparents where they threw off the gravitational pull by only eating desert! Ok maybe my theory is flawed but c'mon deep fried eggs sound good!

Yuck. Can't think of one. There are so many ways to cook an egg, why are you considering deep frying it? I don't think there would be much left of the egg after it hits the hot grease.

Ugh! Do the people above understand you said DEEP frying. Geez, read people.

their is no benefit or purpose to deep frying an egg, they are usually shallow fried aren't they, although actually one would'nt have to keep spooning over hot fat to cook the top of the egg if it were deep fried.
