I bought a camper van 3 months ago we haven't used it yet and we have never had one before, So we have got a lot to learn, will we learn from other campers or will it be trial and error. We are so much looking forward to it, what does other people think of camping, it is taxed insured and we have joined the camping club. Just can't wait

Ask someone in the camping club that has a camper van about what should you bring, what works well with their camper, what doesn't work well, etc. Sign up for short, easy trips at first. Go for just a weekend, and try to not bring too much stuff. It's easy to do, trust me!
When you get home, separate your stuff into 3 piles according to how much you used it. One pile is stuff you used all the time; #2 is stuff you used once or twice; #3 is stuff you never used. Put pile #1 back into the camper if you don't need it around the house. Leave the stuff in pile 3 home next time. Choose carefully from pile 2 when you go somewhere again.
Good luck with it, and have fun. I like going camping, whether it's with a tent the size of a whole room, or packpacking with everything I need on my back, or with everything loaded in a canoe and I'm heading down 4 lakes to get to the campsite.

Right on. The key is, what year? The modern ones are nice but nothing beats the older. We have a 73 Rivera conversion camper with a type 4 engine. We are redoing the engine right now.
