I think that sometimes that is the case. When you are drunk, your feelings are definately a lot stronger, or you can speak them easier than when you are sober.

I always heard a drunk mind speaks a sober mouth (not heart). So If a you got drunk and ended up In bed with someone you never met does that mean you love that person. You don't have a clue what you said that night before to get to where you were the next morning. I personally wouldn't consider listening to a drunk person because If they can't tell me sober how they feel they might not feel It at all

Hello socks,
No it is not true. What you say when you are drunk MIGHT be how you truly feel WHEN YOU ARE DRUNK, but not necessarily how you feel when you are sober ( which is most of the time- hopefully). You should not let drunk talk from someone cause you to believe this is the way the drunk "really" feels about anything. They most probably have had their "feelings" influenced by alcohol and quite possibly don't share the same "feelings" when they are sober.
A drunk's opinion may be strong and passionate, but it also may not reflect the true feelings or desires of the person when he/she is sober. Of course, once the alcohol has worn off, you could always ask the person how they feel compared to what they said.

I don't agree with that. If you love someone...and you feel it with your heart. You'll say it. Not when you're drunk. when you are durnk its the drinks that are talking not your heart. To have your heart talk, you have to really love and care for someone and thats when the words of the heart will speak. I tell my girlfriend I love her with meaning, and I don't just SAY it because I want her to think that. No. We're online dating so the words and MEANING it really make a difference.

Not necessarily--that's why the alcohol "impairs your judgement!" It may make it easier to say things, however, does anyone REALLY believe that the drunk they met 3 hours ago loves them???!!!

Yeah sometimes alcohol works like truth serum . That depends on where it is coming from though. I had a guy tell me he loved me when he was drunk. He didn't mean it though because i knew he was totally incapable of loving anyone but himself . I got myself a toy and didn't need him anymore!

Alcohol does tend to release one's emotional barriers. Or at least loosen them. Sometimes I think it is just a drunk talking though.

It depends with whom you are sitting/drinking. If there is hidden feeling it may come out. Its not neccessary what he or she is telling, is going to implemnet the same, when he/she will be out of that drunkedness next morning
