I have a nickname, which I will not share here, and I like it. But, I also like it when she calls me by my name.
So, babycakes, babydoll, baby, babe, honey, my hunka hunka burning love, studmuffin, mr. orgazmo, they are all good.

Well my girlfriend calls me , Baby and honey. I guess its all on the occassion. If she's feeling happy and a little exciting over her day then she'll call me baby, and if she's more serious she'll call me honey just to get my attention. Considering the fact that I'm 6'7 and 230 lbs...its kind of amazing what kind of looks you'll get when someone 5'3 calls you baby.

I'm not into nicknames. I respect the names that are given to people and use them. I don't call people by their last names either. And I usually include a Mr. or Ms. in front of the name no matter what the age.
In short, nicknames circumvent a real name and I consider it to be disrespectful! (But that's just me!)

I prefer honey or baby something simple like that . . .the fact that you want to call him a pet name should be enough shouldn't really matter what the name is as long as it's said with affection.

I usually call my hubby baby, sugar , darling, honey and for those special times DADDY!!! HE really likes that but thats only at certain times.
