Sweetie, you can freeze cookies and if you have them packed right and in a good container I would say they will keep, taste wise, for at least a couple of months.
I bake hundreds of cookies this time of the year, I started two weeks ago, my freezer is overflowing.
Just make sure the cookies are completely cooled, then layer them in your container, put a layer of wax paper or even papertowels in-between each layer and put that lid on tight.

And pay no attention to the answer above about re-baking them! Ugh! To serve, simply take out about an hour or two before your ready to eat. They come to room temp. very fast and they do not get soggy. Very easy to do.

If you had cookies that are low in shortening such as Pfeffernusee, they can be baked 3-4 weeks ahead and stored. Cookies that are soft may be baked 2 weeks ahead of time and stored in an airtight container. Put a piece of apple, orange, or bread in the container to keep the cookies moist. Change the fruit or bread frequently. Cookies may be stored in the freezer from 9-12 months. If you freeze them put plastic wrap between each layer of cookies. That keeps them from drying out.

A few days on the counter. A week in the fridge. If you seal them well in Ziploc bags or something maybe a month. But the best way to keep cookies is not to make them all at once. Freeze the dough it keeps really long. Just thaw it about half an hour before you use it.

Fresh baked cookies can last on a plate on your counter for a couple of days without getting too stale. Keeping them covered will give you about a week. Freezing is a good option too, wrap them tight to avoid freezer burn and they should keep for a few months. To defrost, set out on the counter and re-bake at probably about 350 for around 5 minutes.

They will probably get eaten before it becomes an issue. If kept dry, they will keep indefinitely, but it will become less fun to eat them. Mold would be the major concern, but I have never seen a moldy chocolate chip cookie.

Store in an airtight container with a slice of either soft white bread or apple. Change slice every day or two. This will keep cookies soft.

If you get something like tupperware or some other food keeper product. Even the glad press top bins, they can last 5 to 8 weeks. Except in my house, where they would never last past the end of the day they were made. SO BRING THEM By...lol

It's a peanut butter cookie with a Hershey's kiss in the center. It's a traditional cookie that's been around for a long time. I could go for one right now.
