I feel your pain & so sorry for your loss. I would call local welfare dshs, dept.right away. ask about this and (sponsorship). They used to have this program & still do I believe & or give you a number to call. where families sponsor a family, They will come to you & drop off nice presents before x-mas will ask how old & gender of family (too buy gfts accordliy & usually a gift certificate at a grocery store too. My friend of 6 kids did it every year, & had to do it myself once. I had a very nice x-mas that year when I thougt it would not be very cheery that year & it makes the family who likes to give, very happy too.

Go to your local church......or the Salvation Army. Find a Catholic Charities office.....look in the phone book....Explain your situation and I bet there are wonderful people that would take care of your sons Christmas.....
I am sorry for the loss of your dog......I have two and would be quite upset if something happened to either of them....
hope Ur holiday is a good one....and remember...it might not be too early to teach your son that there is a "real" reason for the season...it's not all about gifts.....
You would be surprised that a few small things and he'd be happier than ever....It's us as parents that want to provide all those presents....hey who does not want to give their lil ones presents....I"ve been without at christmas time and we just had to make due...
be well.....and remember....the reason for the season......
The birth of Christ....

You need to go to Toy's for Tot's, Church's, Charities, Salvation Army and the Welfare office in your area. You can also place an add on www.craigslist.org to see if you can find a family that is willing to adopt you for Christmas in your area.. I am very sorry about your dog and hope times get easier for your family and you. Merry Christmas to you all.

Try the Salvation Army, Homeward Bound (a group sponsored by United Way), try your local Department of Economic Security office, a WIC office, or a local Church. I have received help from these groups at different times in my life.

Check with local churchs. This Sunday we are taking wrapped gifts for families in your shoes, it's kind of first come first served. I know what you are going through, our pets are part of our family and it hurts when we lose them. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Go to social servies, your local eagels club, jaycees, Lions, any club that helps people.
Your local YMCA should help, or social services would more than likely help. CHURCHES!!! go see them.
