I am 20 years old am 5ft 5 and weigh about 150ilbs (10st 8).

I am starting to get really obsessed with my weight even though people tell me im not fat i think i am. I keep looking at pro ana websites (i know thats sad) at all the thin models and wish i looked like them. I havent stopped eating but am ating alot in one time and then feeling really guilty when i do. I usually eat right and i excercise about 3 times a week. I think i am on a dangerous path and i am seriously considering stopping eating altogether as it is the only way i can be skinny like the models.

Serious answers only please i dont want any saying i am stupid as i really feel down about my weight.

Ok, I need to tell you a little of my story. I'm an anorexic who's in recovery (for about a month now) because I almost had a heart attack. I'm around 5'6 and weigh about 85 pounds. You are not stupid. You are not ugly. Please believe me. You need to go see a caring doctor, who can get you into a proper program to deal with the thought processes and patterns that you are having. Please, don't become like I did. At 21 years old, my health is endangered to the point that I might not make it to 22, and all because I chose to listen to the anorexic voices in my head, looking at pro ana websites, etc. It is not worth it. You are beautiful. You are exquisite. I know that you don't believe me now, but you need to accept that the skinny models are putting their lives in jeopardy, big time. Feel free to contact me privately for support or just to talk. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hey, it's not healthy to think the way you're thinking, but there are so many pressures on being "thin" nowadays I don't blame you for wanting to be ultra thin yourself.
There are two parts to this.. don't strive to be a model because they're superhuman and have a lot of problems that you don't see in the pictures (with their health). Your self esteem is pretty low, maybe you should talk to someone about that.
But as far as losing weight goes.. do it right. Eat three meals a day.. because you can actually gain weight if you only eat one big meal a day. Avoid white bread, white rice, pasta & red meat. Try not to drink anything with caffeine, especially soda & coffee. Drink loads of water, and if you don't like the taste of water add a little fresh lemon to it or drink vitamin water. Eat loads of veggies & fruits (steamed or raw), and try to eat a lot of fish. Then there's the obvious- no fried foods, nothing "packaged", no sweets (though once and a while have something to keep you sane). Try to stick to the rim of the grocery store aka avoid the aisles.. thats where they pack all the very fatty foods. Hope this helps :-)

Being upset about one's weight is common. You do not have to be skinny to be liked. Just be yourself! Please, do not quit eating. It will only make things worse. If you stop eating and see the pounds drop, you will most likely want to lose more and more weight untill finally you have wasted away. Not eating and being skinny can cause women to suffer heart problems. Do not hurt yourself just to be like the thin models. They are skinny so they can fit into small, small clothes. The modeling agencies want them to do what they want. They try to control these girls lives. Many succde. Do you want to be controled by strangers who do not even know you? You should not care what others think of you, I mean they don't even really know what you are going through unless they have experince it themselves. A month or so ago, I cared about my weight because the guy I love was going out with my best friend who was ALOT skinner than I was. I had began to throwup whatever I had eaten. When this person learned of this, he did whatever he could to stop me. My friend did also. I would not listen though, I was very stuborn. Finally he came and said that he liked me for me. I believe hat you should listen to voices around you, (the positve ones), and do not stop eating, because your weight is not who you are.

Orlistat (marketed as Xenical® by Roche), also known as tetrahydrolipstatin, is a drug designed to treat obesity. This drug taken with food prevents the absorption of fat. So you can enjoy food, get all nutrients and not getting fatty. Weight training plus a nutritonal diet style will help you keep in shape.

People need treatment when they are getting too much obsessed about looks or eating.

More countries are putting forward new laws that won't allow people to participate in fashion shows if their body mass index is below 18.

Health is more important than how we look. When you look cute, other are enjoying. But when you eat an icecream it is YOU really enjoying.

You shold see a physician and allow him/her to gauge your BMI (body mass index) which determines your weight based on your height and other contributing factors such as diet, excercise, and general lifestyle.
There is no such thing as "being stupid"when it concerns your health and taking care of yourself ! Not all,but some of the models you see are shallow inside as well as outside.Be who YOU are,not who THEY are.Good Luck.

You're fine as you are.
Stop eating and you won't be.
The models are fake. You are real.
See a doctor, they can help.
Love yourself!
