My kitten got sick a few days ago but she's getting better now. She used to sneeze and didn't want to eat or drink. Now, she sneezes less and starts eating and drinking. I went to the shop today and the cat followed me(all the way to the shop)(on the road behind me)without me noticing it. Then, I heard someone honking his horn and my kitten was right in front of the car. So then, I had to take my kitten back to my house. (This is wierd behaviour for my kitten). My kitten is 6 months old and already has nipples. It's a stray cat so it didn't go to the vet. Don't say go to the vet because my parents won't let me. What's the average age for a cat to become pregnant? And can anyone help me?

as to the sneezing and not wanting to eat and drink, cats can catch colds/viruses, just like humans can,,,,,,,,, most all cats, even boys, have nipples that show,,,, i think your kitten is a little young to be pregnant, but it wont be much longer till she is old enough,,,,,,, as to the vet, your cat does need its basic shots, as there are some viruses/lukemia that cats pass to each other,,,,,, most cities have a vet who will do this very cheaply, practically free, call your humane society/local animal shelter for information on this,,,,,, then perhaps you could earn money around the house or doing chores for neighbors to pay for it,,,,,,,, I think that would be a great thing for you to do, and a big step towards becoming mature,,, taking responsibility for something,,,,the kitten is little and was startled by the car, so its not so odd for her to sit in the road,,,,,,, best of luck

it could be almost anything. Do your parents recognize this cat as a your kitten? or is it just a stray that you feed. Stray cats almost always have worms, so if the belly is huge and the rest of the body is slim, it could have roundworms. Stray cats can also carry FIP and feline leukemia. FIP both are deadly to kitties, although some cats can live long lives with leukemia. Stray cats almost always have respiratory infections (kitty colds) they can last a long time, yours may have had one but is on it's way out. Eating and drinking is a very good sign that the kitty is going to get better, but i will say that if the cat lives in your home, and you have taken over responsibility for it, then part of being a responsible pet owner is taking kitty to the vet. It's not fair to the cat to have an illness that goes untreated. If you can't you and your parents may want to look into some no kill cottages in the area that rescue stray cats. just google stray cat rescue, and your location- there are a lot of resources out there that can help. Some work with local vets and will offer low cost spay/ neutering, vaccinations, and health care. ANd it is possible for the kitty to be pregnant. Have you noticed other cats in the area?

Ha ha, aww that's sooo cute! Follows you to the store haha! If my cat got out, I'd never see her again. Yea, now watch some idiot say take it to the vet anyway, just like they always do on Yahoo Idiots.

They can get pregnant very early. Unless you want a ton of kittens, and you want THOSE kittens to have kittens, you better see if there is some low cost way to get your cat fixed.

Sounds like you took good care of her and now she loves you like you are her momma. Cats do that, bond with one person more than any other.

If she were in heat you would know it. She would wail and act crazy and you wouldn't be able to get her in the house because she would be hunting some other cat to mate.

The cat needs to go to the vet to be "fixed". Talk to your parents. Maybe you can find a low cost way - from a shelter or other organization who holds clinics. Tell your parents if she doesn't get fixed, there will be MORE cats to deal with.

Odds are she probably going into heat. Unless you want more kittens you'd better keep a good eye on her. You can call the humane society in your area and explain the situation that your folks can't/won't take her to a regular vet. They will probably give you a voucher for neutering or allow you to bring her there to get it done.

there is not any longer something incorrect or sexual approximately it. It looks like what kittens do whilst they think of they're nursing on somebody's finger or earlobe. it is not hurting the kitten, even though it does look merciless to enable it think of it incredibly is nursing on a blanket.
