Can people get cat ear-mites burrowed into their skin?

nope! the earmites will die within minutes if they are outside of the cats ears... both of my cats just had them and me and mu husband survived it! I asked the vet that same question...so you are ok!

I think ear mites are limited to cats and dogs and I guess other animals. I sure hope so! I have a cat that had resistant ear mites and it took forever and a lot of work to get rid of them! Revolution is a product that works on fleas, ticks, and ear mites for cats. It takes a couple of treatments but works great!
