meth and open sores?

when do you pick at them when you are high or having withdraws

the guy was ranting and raving and his face was bleening and i thought he should be high so was it withdraw you pick your face

I had a friend that used meth a lot. She would always be picking at "little worms under her skin". There, of course, were no worms, but she was convinced. Now she has all these scars all over her face and arms. It is odd though, not everyone picks, I've noticed. She only picked when she was high. When she wasn't high, or maybe she was, she was at work, as a RN. at a local hospital. Scary huh?

Not all meth users pick or break out from using. The ones that do pick, start picking when they reach a severe, intense high. I knew people who literally thought they had bugs crawling under their skin, other people would see a pimple on a part of their body and then get stuck looking for more and picking them continuously causing infection. Some addicts bodies are allergic to all the substances used to make meth that their body rids of the toxins through the pores causing boils and ulcer like sores all over the body. Meth addicts tend to have pore immune systems and vitamin deficiency from lack of eating which can cause stuff like that to happen.
I have scars that will probably never go away from my heavy days of meth use

I used to be a meth addict, and I never had open sores...I know people that do pick at their skin though, and they do it when they're high. Some people do it so bad they get open sores, but I never did that

I'm pretty sure it's when they're high. Some prescription stimulants like Ritalin and Adderall can cause this too.
