Other shots do not do this and it aches to the touch and to move it around much for about a week. :-( Is it certain chemicals and if so which ones are those chemicals found elsewhere?

You know here's the thing , The flu shot is over rated,doctors
have told me for years "there are no side effects" . Oh yes there are I get sick every time. Alot of people do. So your arm hurting just another side effect Right.

Flu shots are IM ( inner muscular) The are actually puncturing into the muscle in your arm so it'll be sore. Any type of IM injection will be sore for a few days

All a vaccination is dead viruses that you are trying to be vaccinated of. (so you have dead flu viruses in your arm and body) They must have a chemical in there to stop reproduction of the flu. That chemical may cause soreness of the surrounding area or injection (like novacaine in a dentises' office)
